London: Actress Scarlett Johansson hates the way her name is shortened to ‘ScarJo’ in the press, insisting it is lazy and bizarre.
The blonde beauty has been dubbed ‘ScarJo’ by some writers and bloggers since shooting to fame in Lost In Translation in 2003, Contactmusic reported.
“It’s laziness. People can’t actually say the whole name? It’s just bizarre. Why is that? Why do I have to get ‘stuck’ with a mangled moniker?,” Johansson said.
The star’s nickname follows in the tabloid trend for combining celebrity couple’s names, such as ‘Brangelina’ for
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and ‘Bennifer’, for ex-partners Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.
