Presented by Sahara Motion Pictures and Born Free Entertainment, ‘Love, BreakUps, Zindagi’ has been inspired from real life situations, gravitating towards modern urban relationships that are driven by emotions and drama.
The title of the film ‘Love, BreakUps, Zindagi adds a level of meaning of today’s modern relationships. It sticks to the fundamentals about two people, Jai (Zayed Khan) and Naina (Dia) essaying the characters of independent and successful people in their respective careers.
In this feel good rom-com, Dia will be seen portraying the character of Naina, an independent and creative photographer, and the actress recently admitted that she has played a role that is close to her heart as her late father liked photography.
Talking about her character in a recent media interaction, Dia stated, “In most ways, Naina is so me! I identify with her situations and a lot of her traits. She’s maternal, independent, and finds beauty in other people’s happiness. But, unlike me, she doesn’t believe in confrontations or even bothers to listen to her inner voice.”

The story and screenplay has been penned by the director himself, while the congenial and entertaining music has been composed by the music director duo, Salim and Sulaiman. Lyrics have been written by Javed Akhtar. The singers Salim Merchant, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Shradha Pandit, Shafqat Amanat Ali and Shruti Pathak have rendered the vocals for the film’s songs.
The film’s story revolves around a bunch of individuals Jai (Zayed Khan) Naina (Dia Mirza), Govind (Cyrus Sahukar), Sheila (Tisca Chopra), Arjun (Satyadeep Mishra) and Gayatri (Auritra Ghosh). Each one of them is going through a confused phase in their lives.
Govind, who is twice divorced still never shies away from girls, while Sheila, who is single is waiting for Mr. Perfect.
Jai’s friend Arjun (Satyadeep Misra) and Naina’s friend Gayatri (Auritra Ghosh) are getting married in Chandigarh. Jai and Naina meet at the wedding and the sparks fly. However both realize that they are already in a committed relationship and their short love story goes awry.
