The book is great and very useful, I did buy the book used to save some $$, but it was listed as like new condition. The book I received was not like new–there are a two pretty good quarter sized scrape marks on the cover and spin of the book and there is writting on some of the pages inside. This is not like new to me. So just be aware that you may not get the condition as it is listed! I’m still thinking of sending this back–for almost $100 I think it should be blimish free!

This book is outdated, outmoded, and nearly useless. It contains tons of information on how to manipulate fabrics that aren’t even in use anymore. Hardly anything on dealing with knit fabrics, which look better and are easier to manipulate. Ask anyone under 50 if they have ever seen any darts in their clothes? And all this slashing and turning and manipulating??? not only is it sloppy, its useless, Useless, USELESS! Lots of money spent for vague instructions on basic blocks, and only clothes made in the 80’s. Save eyour money, just because this book is expensive, doesn’t make it useful.

  4. The book, “Pattern Making For Fashion Design” is exactly the book I wanted. However, there have been several new editions to this book. I would choose the latest edition instead of the original edition. I payed a hefty price for an outdated edition. I am disappointed.
