MUMBAI: Popular bollywood singers Sunidhi Chauhan, Sonu Niigaam, Shreya Ghoshal, Sukhwinder and KK will perform at the music fest ‘Qutub Festival 2011’. The five-day fest commenced on 4 November, is held at Qutub Complex, near Qutub Minar.
The event organized under the aegis of Delhi Government department of art, culture and languages by Punjabi Academy is an attempt to preserve and present the rich tradition of Indian music.
“This year, we are focusing on contemporary music and displaying the performances of some of the best singers. To make the experience a lively and refreshing one, each day of the five-day festival will showcase a different singer and a unique concert,” Punjabi Academy secretary Rawel Singh told PTI.
The entry passes for the fest is available at Dilli Haat (INA), Dilli Haat (Pitampura), Delhi Tourism Office (Baba Kharak Singh Marg) and Punjabi Academy.
